Artist: EZEKIEL Title: Songs Of Love And
Hate Format: CD Rated:
Classically trained pianist,
multi-instrumentalist, composer and philosopher Ezekiel has released
his debut album titled "Songs of Love and Hate".
Already critically acclaimed and being hailed as a 'masterpiece of a contemporary classical music', this album opens with a bang:
"The Sea", (the most astounding composition on the album), a track where you
can fully appreciate Ezekiel's skills as a pianist, whilst he performs a suite full of
pathos and cinematic atmospheres.
The various tracks paint a different
kind of moods passing from the epic tones of "This Love"
or "Loss" to the romantic dreaming ones of "You" or "Tranquillo".
Also there are truly beautiful composition "My Heart" and very powerful and deep "The End Is The Beginning"...
The characteristic of Ezekiel instrumental suites is the piano (where he gives
his very best) which on most of the times is accompanied by strings
orchestrations. Unfortunately one or two midi sounds (though the piano and
strings sounds very realistic) could spoil the ambience just a little, because
Ezekiel's music truly deserves to be performed by a whole 100 piece orchestra!!!
To me, 'SONGS OF LOVE AND HATE' sounds like a dramatic movie soundtrack, it's a
personal and very impressive work.
On Ezekiel's website www.artistezekiel.com you
can check out high bitrate samples of this album in full and then you
could decide if his music is the soundtrack to the movie called Life...
